Kick down cable adjustment 1988 5.0 (help)

I have a 1988 5.0 with an automatic transmission in a 1973 F100. Can someone help me find a shop in Fresno California that can help me make sure the kick down cable is adjusted right? I finally got it on the road and it isn't shifting right, I hope it is just an adjustment that it needs.
